| FET this Friday! Need Good Prayers
Hi, I am new here, first post, so I will give you a very brief background.
After a few years of ttc and testing, Clomid and IUI's, we finally did an IVF cycle this past June. On egg retrieval day I had 25 eggs, 22 were mature, 19 fertilized with ICSI. Of those, 11 were frozen right away. We did a transfer on day 3 with 3 of our embryos. Out of the 5 that were left, 3 reached blast and were also frozen, so I had 14 frozen emmbies. My embryologist called me and said that although he shouldn't make this kind of statement, he would be shocked if I came in and had a negative test, since everything had gone SO well with my cycle and they were all Grade 1 excellent quality. Lo and behold I had a BFN.
DH and I decided to take some time off. I needed to recoup physically and mentally, and of course we needed to take some time to save up financially.
Well we finally decided we were ready to put some of those 14 emmbies to use and start our FET cycle. They said FET would be easier than a fresh cycle, and in many regards it is, but in others, well these new meds brought about a whole new set of side effects.
I am going for my transfer this Friday, October 31. Yes, Halloween. Hopefully the emmbies have a sense of humor. I am a jumble of emotions --- excited, hopeful, terrified, weepy, etc.
Just hoping for some good wishes my way.
Thanks for reading!
