I'm new to all this message board stuff and dont' know if I'm doing this right.. If not then let me know..

I'm 37 yrs old and have had Chronic Lyme Disease for 21 yrs now, am home bound and still haven't found the right doctor to help me.... The one LLMD I did see last yr dismissed me due to I became allergic to the two main anitibiotics he used and said if I can't take them due to life threatning allergy to them well then, he would not continue to try to treat me... I'm currently in a suflur study program and have noticed the pain level will go from a 10 to an 8 for about two hrs which is the the first for me in 21 yrs... However, I still looking for a LLMD, does anyone know of any LLMD near Indiana? Am willing to drive the distance needed if that means I can get some help. Thanks...

Post in the main area and some one should be able to give you a name.

The Lyme Disease Association has a referral section "on" line.

If not, call Igenex and ask to speak to the doctor that you are looking for a LLMD.

If you start a new thread and ask for a LLMD around you. Most people have to travel. Kind of crazy a doctor gives up on you beacause you can't handle the two antibiotics. ugh! Sorry for what you are going through.

Also look at the top of this board under Doctors and Clinics..you might find a doctor there.
