| False positive ua
HOWDY,
It really sucks when your pm doc does a ua on you sends it to ameritox and comes back as a false positive. ameritox says that i do meth and ex. i've never touched those a day in my life. the morn before thanksgiving i wake up to a voicemail from my doc saying due to sufficient abnormalities in my ua he is discharging me and my hubby ( who recently got home from a tour in iraq) from his care. and the reason he is discharging my hubby is because the doc prescribes pain meds to him. after receiving this voicemail i naturally called to talk to the doc right away. he is out of the office for 5 days due to the thanksgiving holliday. IMAGINE THAT!! i spoke with his nurse to find out the results of my false positive ua, after talking to the office manager and her referring me to a place where i could get a ua done but have to pay for it i of course hung up the phone ran out of the house and did so. HAHA got my results back and the only thing in my system were the pain drugs that were prescribed to me IMAGINE THAT ANOTHER AMERITOX SCREW UP. Now that i have my results in hand i will be going to the dr. and office manager to throw it in their faces, i will also be going to the patient advocate and hiring a lawyer if need be. I refuse to be the victim of someone elses mistake
