| | Lower groin pain - male
I have been experiencing pain in the area where my leg joint meets my body - on the right side only, and only when I am lying down. It is focused on the inside area near the genitals when I am flat on my back or lying on my left side and will sometimes extend for about 5 or 6 inches along that crease (leg/torso) towards my hip. If I turn on my right side the pain seems to dissipate. It seems to occur mostly where the leg joint meets the upper body (hip? pelvic?) I am 71 years old, fairly healthy and active mentally, physically, sexually, and play piano for fun and money.
Any suggestions as to cause will be most welcome.
