It has been less than a week and he is on the mend. Apparently, the younger you are the less pain and duration. He had a 5 day run of a anti-viral and the sweet angel took every drop of it. (thank God it was banana flavored) He seem to only have pain when he slept on the affected side. The bad areas have crusted over and the lesser spots have faded a lot.
So all you mom and dads out there....if your child had chicken poxs prior to 6 months of age; they could get shingles in their chilhood or teenage years.
