| IBC and Shingles
Hi Everyone:
About two years ago I came down with shingles (at age 39) on the left side of my chest close to my breast. I did my research on shingles because I thought this was something older folks got. I found you can get shingles with run down immune systems, cancer, HIV. I was totally freaking out because my mom passed away very young from cancer and I thought this was a way of telling me something was wrong. Well two years have come and gone and now my left breast is not feeling right. Under my arm feels swollen and my breast is very sore. I do have an appointment tomorrow with my ob/gyn. Do you think there is a connection between my shingles and possible breast cancer. I was wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences. Thanks.
