AS Crones, Diabetes, Kidney stones, shingles, Etc

I am a fairly healthy 55 year old woman. My husband of 35 years, has several medical issues. He never feels good, he sleeps or lays in bed all day because that's where he's the most comfortable. His stomach bothers him most of the time, (he's allergic to NSAIDS). Even cooking is extremely difficult, he never want's to eat.

We moved 1500 miiles from home to Live in Phoenix Az for the dry climate for his arthritis. I have no family or friends here, when I've tried to make friends, we are usually invited places and have to cancel because he doesn't feel well. That can get old real fast so people don't want to invite again. I've tried Ladies guilds but most of them are widowed and can pick up and go when they want and I can't.
My children don't live close by. Our funds are limited due to the amount of medication that he takes. We usually spend over $10k per year. He's on disabiity and Social Security. I don't work either.

If anyone else reading here is healthy, taking care of a person who is constantly sick but not dying, I'd wish you'd share your coping techics here.
