Red face Could this be shingles?
Hi,

A week ago, I noticed a big red patch and two smaller red patches on the left side of my stomach. They haven't changed in size, but now they itch. Also, I have pain on the same side of my back. Does this sound like shingles? This is the only thing I can think of that it could be, but it seems like they would be spreading or growing. ???? I have never had anything like this. And help is appreciated!

If it's shingles the rash forms along the nerve path from the spine - it's called a dermatome pattern - any doctor can dx it just by looking at it.

It might not get any bigger and although many people have severe pain with shingles some do not. I think it takes about a month to resolve, unless it causes nerve damage.
