| First Outbreak Herpes (or Shingles?)
Could this be a first outbreak of Herpes Simplex? Is that possible when I haven't had any sexual contact for more than 12 months.
4 days ago I had a terrible burning sensation, what felt like temperature and flu type symptoms, followed next day by redness, swelling, tenderness and an eruption of blisters on my bottom (in the line just above my anus), the blisters have now joined into one large blister.
I can't get to a doctor until after the weekend, and I am trying to sort my way through information first.
Does it sound like Shingles?
Anything I could be looking up?
I know no-one here can give a diagnosis, just looking for suggestions really so that I don't worry myself silly before I get to the doctors!
