Shingles and Diarrhea?

Hi,

I'm new this board and extremely worried. I had unprotected sex with a woman just over 10 years ago and I am worrying myself sick about being HIV+.

For the past 3-4 months I've had on and off diarrhea. During the week I developed a rash on my back with blisters that itch. The pain isn't really that bad but I think it's shingles based on pictures I saw on the internet. The rash is next to my spine a few inches above my waist line.

People who have diarrhea and are HIV+, does the diarrhea come later on in the illness or is it a begininning sign? The shingles really have me worried now. I think I'm going to get tested but I am so scared.

Please help.

Re: Shingles and Diarrhea?

first off don't be scared
hiv is now treatable and you can live
pretty normal life for a long time with it.
you cannot diagnose hiv thru symptoms
or thru the internet,
the only sure way to know is by getting tested for it.
good luck
