Shingles pain/irritation when meds are done

I am getting over Shingles & the rash was on my forehead, scalp & right eye. The rash is cleared along with most of the pain is gone. However, my eye still has a little pupil dilation & I still have to wear sunglasses and/or squint from the light. The doctor said no damage was done to the cornea & the dilation was due to the virus. But now my 7-day regimen of Valtrex (3 grams per day) is all taken. Question, anyone else with experiences of post-Shingles eye irritations? Dialated pupil/mild blurriness & sensitivity to light? Pain in brow bone? If so, how long did it take to go away & were there any drops or meds you used? I was not advised to refill by my regular doctor since the rash & major pain are gone, but perhaps I should? Don't want seem impatient, but the eye thing is annoying and troublesome. Thanks in advance!
