| help what is this? shingles?

please could you help i hate having to go to the doctors!
Over the last week i have experienced blisters around the top of my legs thighs and mid tummy.
THey are little water blisters which pop at the slightest touch, itch and then scab. they are really worrying me because some are in between my thighs and rub when i walk.. I dont usually rub there but with the warm weather it really hurts.
I have been in contact with someone who's mum has just recovered from shingles. not in a full contact way but does this sound like shingles? I dont really suffer from anything else other than i am really tired at the moment.
I havent been sexually active for over 3 months and can rule out any infection that way but it is really worrying me
any advice would help thanks!
