| Shingles?
I have been in severe pain for 2 weeks. The pain is deep inside upper body only on left side. (shoulder blade, down arm and pectorial area of chest)
I went to the dr last Saturday (about 4 days after pain started) I thought I was having a heart attack. That's when we discovered a little leison on my shoulder blade. The dr. said "that looks like shingles"
He did a culture that came back negative. (it took a week to get the culture)
He said " You can get a false negative on these tests)
I am still in pain. The first week I took prednisone and vicodine.
This week they are giving my Lyrica and Naproxen.
I am very scared of the Lyrica!!
Do you take it? What are the side affects? Did you have any side affects?
Does this sound like Shingles? Perhaps I could have a spinal injury?
I'm so confused. Please help.
