Is this shingles?
Hi everyone! Yesterday I started having sudden pain along my right cheek bone and it extended up to my right eye some too. My right cheek has felt hot since then too. My eye feels like there is pressure along with the pain. Does this sound like shingles? I know it's hard to diagnose...but I haven't had any type of allergies, sinus issues or colds recently and I don't have my wisdom teeth, so it can't be that.

I would more suspect a possible sinus infection if the pain and heat is under the cheekbone. Sinus infections can produce pain and pressure behind the eye or in the teeth on the affected side. If it is shingles, you will break out in a blistery rash on that side of face in 2-3 days. Trigeminal neuralgia is a third possibility.
