| Re: Rotator Cuff Irreparable - Please Help!
If surgery is no longer an option, you should attend therapy (physical or occupational) to regain some of the function of your arm. The most frequently torn rotator cuff muscle is the supraspinatus. {REMOVED} by strengthening the other, intact musclulature of your arm, you may be able to improve function at your shoulder. If you are young, in shape, and motivated your chances at improvement are better{REMOVED} Work your rotators. Just watch extreme external rotation- you mentioned your labrum was torn. If it is in the front part of your shoulder (called a bankart lesion) extreme external rotation can stress your joint and make it sublux or dislocate. See a sports doctor and get some tx!
good luck-
