Hi there. In August 2010 I started having shoulder/neck/upper back pain on my right side that my doctor said was shoulder tendonitis. I had an xray done and then was perscribed Arthrotec 75 - once a day and physiotherapy. I didn't take the Arthrotec but did go to physio and it was better in a couple of months.
Now it's back (started hurting about a week ago) - I think I might have wrenched the same arm doing exercises. I've got a physio appt for Monday and am considering taking the Arthrotec this time around.
The pain isn't a 10, more like a 3, but it is keeping me from sleeping well and doing my exercises and is always there like a toothache. I want to make sure I don't let it develop into something chronic that won't go away. Hopefully I am taking the right steps with physio and arthrotec.
My shoulder pain slowly developed and worsened, trouble sleeping at night, bringing my arm down from a raised position, lifting something heavy. Did you see an Orthopedic doc? You might want to consider an MRI at some point, but if it worsens I would see the specialist. I was told that shoulder issues are what Orthro. docs see most and that is a complicated area of the body to heal as well.
