On Wednesday (Feb. 2, 2011) I was outside in our driveway at around midnight. I was walking my boyfriend to his car and when I was going to clear off his other headlight I slipped and fell. After he left and I went inside I noticed that my right shoulder began to hurt whenever I lifted things shoulder height or higher. Yesterday while working I noticed while pushing carts that my shoulder really disliked the pressure. My shoulder also felt painful when lifting the heavy products in our grocery store. I am going on the third day after falling and my shoulder pain hasn't gone away. It hasn't gotten worse but it hasn't gotten better either. At the moment I am just wondering what to do. Should I make an appointment to see my doctor or should I just give it time?
If the pain hasn't gone away for 3 days, well more now I would say definitely see your doctor. It is affecting your daily life (working) and at this point lifting things or putting excess pressure on it is not a good idea. Good luck to you hope everything turns out ok.

thanks, frankieswife for the reply. it has been about seven days after the fall and my shoulder stopped hurting after day six, however now whenever I rotate my shoulder I hear a single pop. I already have crepitus in my left shoulder after falling off my bike my freshman year of college. I just didn't want the same thing to happen to my right shoulder. I can say I am really feeling my age too...I am 23 and shouldn't have this many injuries I know....
