Should you wait for your MRI , then more time till it is read and then hope what the MRI shows is relevant and by that time you should in the chronic phase so the pain can go on for ever and you can then visit lots of specialists get more MRIs and wonder why it's not getting better.
The alternative is to see a therapist tomorrow, have them diagnose your trouble, if it is a tendon, which one, or the capsule or the bursa and have it treated properly. This what doctors do for their own families, they dont waffle around doing silly expensive scans, they get them treated.
