I suspect that you have muscle inhibition surrounding your shoulder. The muscles, because of the pain and surgery won't contract and are flaccid and so the circulation is not flowing through the joint. What you need to do is simple, just keep squeezing your fist and you will find a minor contraction of your big shoulder muscle which will give a pumping action and get rid of the swelling around the shoulder without irritating the operation. Try this and take your meds on a regular basis. Let us know.
