I have had mild shoulder pains for around 2 to 3 years (left side) particularly in between the upper spine and shoulder blade when inhaling, twisting certain ways or stretching my left arm completely out in front or around over the other side.
Recently I got a massage on the area and woke the next day basicly unable to move, went and got panadeine forte & ultrasounds which showed nothing. I will get xrays next week although the doctor has been convincing me it is soft tissue.
The pain now is real sharp, over the back of the ribs in between the shoulder blade and spine and worsens when fully inhaling or turning my upper body one way or another. Does this sound consistant with a disc/ rib problem as I have been trying to convince my doctor? Would be good to hear from any one with similar problems/ ideas on what it may be.
I only hope now that it is at the point of me missing work and is no longer just a dull pain he will send me for xrays/ ct scans and get to the bottom of it.
Thanks for any input you have
