Hypertrophy - Prominent Clavicle

There is a big bump on my left clavicle. I believe this to be an issue of hypertrophy, or the growth of cells, and I'm at a loss as of what to do. This has been bothering me for a while and it impedes my daily life.

Any thoughts?? Thanks

Re: Hypertrophy - Prominent Clavicle

Where on your clavicle and was it sudden and the cause if you know. Also how long and in which ways does it impede your life. If painfull is it on activity or is it continuous even at rest.
Edit
Didn`t you post earlier and was is suggested you had a AC or Sternoclavicular joint dysfunction.

The Distal End of the Clavicle, it was somewhat sudden after I started shoveling massive amounts of snow 4-6 weeks after a SLAP Tear Repair... I noticed a bump on the clavicle, it has gotten to be substantially large.

Most arm movements I feel it, so during activity; I really don't feel pain during rest. I had a shoulder subluxation/dislocation (idk..) in 09', thats why I had the surgery in 10'... So thats what I posted about earlier.

My Doc doesn't see it as a big deal, but I have been dealing with this for almost a year after the surgery, and it really slows my day down a lot.
