| MRI Impression & Plaelet Rich Plasma
Any idea if the PRP would work in my case or maybe in conjunction with surgery. I have an appointment at Barnes STL the end of this month. Thanks.
Impression: 1. Tear of the distal supraspinatus, anterior fibers of the infraspinatus, with at least a 12 mm fluid gap. Chronic impingement and atrophy noted.
2. Abnormal superior and anterior labrum with high grade tendinosis if not partial to near complete tear of the long head of the biceps tendon and subscapularis. Marked abnormal signal and thickening, especially axial images 10 through 13, series 7 of these structures.
