i have had shoulder problems in the past and my shoulder is now deformed but i moved a oven just over a week ago and heard a massive crack and got a sudden burning feeling and lots of pain which is getting worse and my arm muscles at the top ache and i have tried paracetamol and codeine, ibuprofen and nothing is touching the pain

just found out it was dislocated and has been for the last 14 years and finally i went back in place but is nw really aching like made.

Re: have i broke or fractured shoulder

I highly recommend seeing an orthopedic surgeon that focuses on shoulders. Dr should send you for an MRI (I personally would not do PT without an mri first) to determine what's wrong. Sounds like you've probably torn your labrum(common tear associated with dislocations) or something else.

Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery!

Re: have i broke or fractured shoulder

Yes, I agree--see an orthopedic surgeon. I've recently learned that the shoulder is the most unstable joint in the entire human body. With your shoulder being displaced for over a decade, the muscles are probably not what they should be. Pain is our body's way of telling us that something is wrong. I really hope you can determine the cause of the pain with the right professionals. Best of luck and keep us posted.
