| biceps tenodesis
Hello all. Had rotator cuff repaired with scope in August 12. Pain didn't lesson. Doctor went back in and performed biceps tenodesis and "shaved" my scalpula (can't remember what it was called) on March 15 of this year. After the surgery doc told wife he accidently cut my subscapularis muscle and had to "tack" it back on. Today went back for follow up, and he said he had to use an anchor and place it back in position. The anchor shows up great on the x-ray he took today! I guess my question is, What in the world does this do to my recovery? He said it would not be any different, but I'm leery of that, considering he cut it in the first place! Therapy is going slow, but am making progress. Thanks for the replies!
God bless
