| MRI Results - thoughts
I'm a 27 year old male who dislocated my shoulder 6 months ago, upon staying active my shoulder pain never went away...so I had an MRI and here are my results:
1. Focal abnormal signal as seen within the distal supraspinatous tendon. This mainly involves the articular surface. Some overlying fibers appear intact. Findings are suggestive of a high-grade partial articular surface tear of the supraspinatous tendon. However, there is a small amount of fluid in the subacromial bursa raising the possibility of a small full-thickness tear. There is no tendon retraction or muscle atrophy.
1. Small focal defect in the superior labrum which represents a labral tear but may simple represent sublabral foramen. Mild degenerative change about the right AC and the greater tuberosity.
