Yesterday a small car crashed into the rear of my Dodge Grand Caravan. Not much damage to my van, but the whole front bumper was off the car. As soon as I got out of my van, my shoulder was throbbing. As the adrenaline left, the pain got worse. I could not raise my arm without a stabbing pain.

My thumb and first finger were numb. I went to the ER and got x-rays. The Doctor's Asst. tells me I sprained my shoulder and elbow. I have had sprains before, and they did not feel like this. I feel the bones inside my shoulder and it feels like they are rubbing together. Can't see a REAL doctor until Monday. or hopefully this coming week. In Florida you have to see a doctor within 14 days of an accident or the insurance doesn't have to pay for it. Anyway...I am worried about the rotator cuff...been reading about the surgeries and a friend told me that his doctor told him only 60% of people who have them do good with them. Scarey...can anyone tell me more about this? Can not really afford to be off of work for long..any info you can give me would be so Greatly Appreciated. Thanks.
