Re: Social Anxiety - operation to fix?

to cudlow, beta blockers, inderal, lopressor, etc are prescription meds, see a doc after hours for them

you may also benefit from some antidepressant meds as these often reduce stress and anxiety

men do wear the make up for special occasions

Re: Social Anxiety - operation to fix?

I am 20 years old and determined to get over this, so lately i have been getting depressed, because things havent really started improving to much yet. When I look ppl in the eyes i blush and get really nervous, like you and to tell you the truth I havent ever seen anyone with this either. I know a girl that will answer questions in front of a class (voluntarily) and she usually blushes as she answers the question. Other then that I only have seen ppl blush for normal reasons like be embarrased by someone.

Cudlow I wouldnt reccomend taking a anti depressent or beta blocker unless you are sure your situation cant get any worse, because taking those leads to TD in some ppl.

Re: Social Anxiety - operation to fix?

ive got a couple of days holiday from work at the beginning of june , and im determined to goto doctors on one of the days. i want to be free from blushing by the time im 21! whether i have to get in £3000 dept for an operation or to by on medication to stop it happening , anything! i cant keep on living like this tho! also i might be changing jobs in a few weeks, so i would like to be on some meds before i start... im sick of people thinking i am a shy person just because i blush all the time!
