I was reading in an article that there is this drug called Epleronone that is an alternative to spiro (albeit more expensive), but without of the negative side effects for men (risk of sterility, breast growth, etc). Member - I did a little quick research, and you are right, this is certainly being touted as a potential substitute for spiro that brings fewer side effects to the table. It has fewer side effects, however, because its action is more specific than spiro's, thus potentially diminishing its impact on acne. Not sure, just a thought.
Also, for those who want to search, it appears that "eplerEnone" is the more common spelling, although "eplerOnone" is used also.
