Rapid heart beat & other effects, too?

Rapid heart beat is one sign of hemolytic anemia

Do you have a fatigue, too?

There are about 8 symptoms,

others include being pale; jaundiced; enlarged spleen; chills; shortness of breath; dark urine

With the 2-butoxyethanol over-exposure there will be all types of glandular problems (endocrine disruption) and there can be high or low blood pressure; high or low blood sugar ... showing this chemical's interferance, too

There are a lot of other noticeable symptoms, such as these with the central nervous system:

Short term memory loss
Difficulty concentrating
Personality changes to 'grumpy' - Extreme Irritability
All the time Depression
Suicidal Tendencies
Difficulty sleeping
Some get MS

2-butoxyethanol CHRONIC EFFECTS - TARGET ORGANS, per research:

SENSE ORGANS AND SPECIAL SENSES (Other olfaction effects)
BEHAVIORAL (General Anesthetic)
BEHAVIORAL (Altered sleep time)
BEHAVIORAL (Somnolence)
BEHAVIORAL (Excitement)
BEHAVIORAL (ATAXIA)
BEHAVIORAL (Coma)
BEHAVIORAL (ANALGESIA) LUNGS, THORAX OR RESPIRATION (DYSPNAE)
LUNGS, THORAX OR RESPIRATION (Other changes)
GASTROINTESTINAL (Nasea or vomiting)
GASTROINTESTINAL (Other changes)
LIVER (Tumors)
KIDNEY, ureter, bladder (hematuria - blood in urine)
KIDNEY, ureter, bladder (other changes)
ENDOCRINE (Tumors)
SKIN AND APPENDAGES (Hair)
MATERNAL EFFECTS (uterus, cervix, vagina)
MATERNAL EFFECTS (Other effects on female)
EFFECTS ON FERTILITY (Pre-implantation mortality)
EFFECTS ON FERTILITY (Post-implantation mortality)
EFFECTS ON FERTILITY (Litter size)
SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENTAL ABNORMALITIES (Musculoskeletal system)
SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENTAL ABNORMALITIES (Cardiovascular system)
NUTRITIONAL AND GROSS METABOLIC (Weight loss or decreased weight gain)
NUTRITIONAL AND GROSS METABOLIC (Changes in: metabolic acidosis)
TUMORIGENIC (Carcinogenic by RTECS criteria)
TUMORIGENIC (Equivocal tumorigenic agent by RTECS criteria)

Many times on products which contain 2-butoxyethanol, you will note the warning, "defats the skin" Maybe that is why there are so many joint problems, and neurological problems ... defating the insulators around nerve endings; defating the join cartilage?

Re: Feel a strong heart beat go through my body

Be safe and get it checked out! You can even buy monitors now at any walgreens or walmart to check you HR and BP.
Trust me it's not something you want to mess around with.
Back In january I went to my Neurologist for migraines. He noticed a rapid HB and kept asking if I felt it. I didn't even notice. It had been going for so long it was normal for me to feel that way!
He sent me off for lots of blood work tyroid , adrenal gland, chest Xray , Eco cardiogram etc. I went to a Cardiologist who concluded I had chronic sinus tachycardia. My Heart when it went into fight or flight mode could not reregulate on it's own! I was going at a minimun of 126 bpm for a month!
I now take Inderal and a anti aniexty med to keep in down. I have to check it at least three times a day. It's scary to feel that way but it went on for so long it felt normal after a while. At the very least check you HB , do you know how to check your own pulse? Find out what and if anything triggers it as well. Best of Luck to you!!

Re: Feel a strong heart beat go through my body

Well from the last time that I posted a lot has happened. First I do suffer from sinus tachycardia, so that might be the problem. But it seems that in an ultrasound to see if my gallbladder was alright something with my liver was found. I think it is an hemangioma. Well I won't know for sure until Monday when I am scheduled to see a surgeon (for what I don't know). Hope that everything goes well and it isn't something worst. Oh, I also spoke to an ER Dr. who said that it could be a symptom of dehydration, which I was sent to the ER for. So it could be anything. Thanks for all the responses.

Cookie

Oh by the way, I'm female, 27 years old with one son.

Again, all can be from a chemical exposure

... but if so, you would have a time in which you noted a fatigue hit.

Are you tired a lot no matter what you do?

What were you doing at this point in time?

Is it possible you were exposed to 2-butoxyethanol?

What you have shared is part of what it can do to people

Re: Feel a strong heart beat go through my body

Cookie- good luck! I know how scary it is. I hate going to Dr. and really hate waiting for test result!!!
Did he put you on any meds. in the mean time to regulate the HB?
I don't know how old you son is? Having kids makes you worry all the more doesn't it?
I have two myself 9 and 5! I was ordered NO STRESS like that is possible with two kids!
I will be heading back to the Dr, myself too, I have a vein showing on the left side of my neck that sometimes hurts! Seems it's always something. Don't know if this is a result of the meds I am on or if something is blocked or worse!
I just loath going to Dr.!!!!
