Question Possible Reflux? Any feedback on symptoms?

I would just like to ask if anyone has any feedback on some of the symptoms I have been experiencing lately. I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with LPR Reflux (am currently taking Aciphex and Nasacort - with little to no relief). Here are my symptoms and if anyone has any feedback or similarities, I would love to hear from you.
On June 1st I went to my GP with sinus trouble and was treated for a sinus infection with Cefzil - since then I have had a constant feeling in my neck/throat area below the ears sort of along the jaw line area.....where the glands are located - anyway, it feels like I have cotton balls stuck in there, it's a constant, never ending feeling. I also have occassional ear pain, clearing of throat, hoarseness, fatigue, lethargy, headaches (frontal/sinus area), lack of sex drive (but that's been going on for a while now - probably unrelated.... soreness underarms towards back. These are the worst of my symptoms - does this sound familiar to anyone - I am so frustrated and tired of feeling bad all the time - I need some help

Re: Possible Reflux? Any feedback on symptoms?

Looks very similar to what i'm experiencing for one year now. Constantly feeling of something is stuck in my throat (cotton balls is a good description of the feeling) or some fluids are in there, other symptom i experienced too where like you fatique and lethargy (something that look similar to hypoglycemia, it happen after the meal for me) headaches, mack of sexdrive too (about his, as we are in the same case, i think we could find a solution together ahahaha, just jocking ). I experienced some sore in the back and in the ribs. My GP thought that was reflux related and i'd some treatment about that (it's the third time he give me reflux treatment, but don't feel better, no relief).

One years ago, in the begining of all this, he prescribe me zoloft because he thought the problem i'd (throat and ribs sore) came frome anxiety/depression (but i don't think so now, i'll talk to him to stop it). So perhaps zoloft is giving me the fatigue/lethargy symptom, i don't know.
I passed some exams prescribed by my GP, but nothing special about the result, all looks to be ok

I think i know what you're experiencing and i hope you'll feel better very soon

P.S. Hope my english is understandable, i'm french

Re: Possible Reflux? Any feedback on symptoms?

Thanks for your reply - I was on zoloft a couple of years ago for depression, and it can leave you feeling tired and lethargic - it is probably also responsible for lack of sex drive - I found that ever since I took zoloft it took away my sex drive and even now it has never come back.....

I hope that we can find some relief for what we are experiencing....it is very frustrating and tiresome to have to deal with this every single day.

Good luck and let me know if you get any answers....

It does not sound like reflux. With reflux you get a burning sensation in your throat especially when lying down. Food wants to almost come back up & you can also get a sour substance back up in your throat or mouth from reflux.
