Question facial hair removal and acne treatments

Hey....I've been using Nair (a hair removal cream) for my upper lip for awhile and it works very well. However I just started differin gel (been 4 weeks) with a combo of benzoyl peroxice 3% cleanser and 3% pads.

Is it safe to continue the use of Nair on my upper lip again or will it irritate my skin? and is there a safer alternative that will help?

I really can't stand this disgusting mustache anymore making me even more self conscious then I already am.

Thanks to anyone with help.

Facial Hair Remover-

Hey there, i'm really not sure on if it will irritate your skin so I really can't say anything there. But I know exactly what you're going through when it comes to that disgusting upper lip line. This may sound a bit weird, but it works for me and you can't even tell<read on>

For my upper lip hair I use this hand razor thingy and it works really well. Now, you're prolly thinking..."razor what the heck, won't it leave those little marks that men get after shaving?" And the answer is NO! It looks perfectly normal after you "shave" that area. Now I wouldn't be telling you this just for fun, it actually does work. I have proven it! The product is called, El Perfilador (something along the lines of that) and you can purchase it at Wal Mart (In the united states that is...I've never seen it in Canada) It comes along with 3 shavers: yellow, pink, and blue. Now, if you do decide to purchase these, which I highly reccommend...Apply a good body lotion to the area you want to shave that contains Aloe Vera in it (just a mm. of a layer, not too much) So that when you shave off the hair, you won't get any kind of rash or get irritated.

I hope this helped, good luck!

Re: facial hair removal and acne treatments

well the easier and cleanest way i'd say by threadin' i'm not sure u'd know what it is .. but in here it's easy and fats and clean .. i don't know how to explain it.. well nair is supposed to not be good for the skin... it smells so awaful how can u put so close to ur nose... and i think it darken the skin and once my friend had put it on her arm and it started to burn and red she couldn't go out that day beacuse of it .. so i think u'd better be careful.. and there is the hot wax but i suppose u can burn ur self ...so better get a professional ...

and there is this thing with the lazier or electric somthin'.. that is for permenant results.. but it's expensive ...

Good luck

I would not recommend Nair while using Differin.

Ask your doctor about Vaniqa. Its a prescription cream that supposedly works wonders for facial hair. Also spironolactone will slow down the growth of what you have and prevent new growth.
