In 1998 I had my first ear infection and have had them off and on ever since. My ear has felt full since then also. I went to an ENT for several years and they just told me to keep my ear dry but offered no solution to the fullness and congestion. I have tried beconase for some time and it hasn't really made much difference. I feel I have lost some hearing in my right ear and desperately want my ear to be normal again.
I have constant sinus congestion/ post nasal drip etc. What can I do? Someone please help.
Do you have pain with the ear fullness? I thought I had ear infections & it turned out to be from TMJ, which made my ear hurt, feel full, hearing loss & a pressure in it all the time, ringing of the ear too. My ENT worked endlessly with me til we found the problem.
Well, usually if I am realyl congested in my sinuses, my ears feel stuffed up, too. So, I would say take some Sudafed, hot showers, Breathe Easy tea...try that kind of stuff...get the sinus congestion to go away, then your ears might clear up, too. What color is your nasal discharge? Has your doc checked you out for sinue infection, allergies, etc?...
