Just got back from the derm....Spiro & Differin!

Yeah the cream is so much gentler. I was really hesitant to try it since the gel irritated my skin but my derm convinced me and I'm so glad she did I'm taking Desogen right now. My skin was also good on Yasmin but I was sick to my stomach on it...

Since Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo has been very inconsistent for me--especially over the last couple of months--I am looking into switching BCP's. I have been taking OTC-Lo since January and have not seen any improvement in my skin....things have gradually gone from worse, to better, back to worse.

Now, I am interested in Yasmin b/c I have seen a lot of good things said about it on the Boards. I haven't seen a lot about Desogen, but will do some research!

I'm excited to see what the next few weeks will bring with my acne....keep your fingers crossed for me!

Any other opinions about Spiro (25mg) and Differin cream (0.1%)?

Also, any other girls out there switch BCP's from Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo to regular OTC, Yasmin, or another brand? Did you still get an initial breakout before things got better?
