Post Can anyone help point me in the right direction...I'm having throat problems!

Hello,

I have a concern and would like a little advice. It all started about 3 months ago when I found a flesh color bump on the back of my throat and one where my tongue connects. Both seemed harmless but I got a sore throat and a doctor said it was an infection and I was but on Z- pack. Then one day my throat felt itchy and I looked and the bumps have spread on the back of my throat and grew in size to about a singles popcorn kernel. I then went to an ENT who told me I had allgeries and put me on Zyrtec...it hasn't gone away and is bugging me very much because they seem to be spreading and gettting a bit larger. Most doctors haven't got the slightest clue and say they see nothing but then others say another thing! Can anyone help me out! No meds seems to be helping and I take great care of myself diet, excerise and oral hygene. If anyone could help it would be much appericated. Thanks for your time!

sounds like throat herpes. not the STD, don't worry. my ex girlfriend had them. then they would break and burn and stuff. i honestly can't remember what caused them, or how they were treated, but its sounds similar to what your saying. go to a different ENT and ask about throat herpes. again, not an STD, just a name. good luck.
