Angry Gas pain/bloating/yuck!

Okay, here goes...

Well I've put up a few other posts about some of my conditions, mostlly to no avail, but there is one persistent problem I've noticed. Sometimes I'll have really painful gas. Now it's not like a cramp, it's more like a pain that I can feel on either or both sides about four inches diagonally from my belly button. (like right above where my thighs meet my pelvis I guess) I also have swollen inguinal lymph nodes (recently diagnosed with mono) and these areas I speak of are extremely bloated/bulging. Doc's have said "not a hernia" three times already, and I'm having a lymph node taken out in two weeks since they've been swollen for about two, three months now.

Can anyone help? I'm not even sure if it's a bowel, problem or other? I also have a lot of trouble bearing down to pass... Like sometimes I gotta kinda sit a different way to make it happen, but not all the time.
I was on Hyoscyamine for about a week, that didn't seem to do too much. I took Cipro for two weeks after a diagnoisis of acute prostatitis (22, yay that's fun...) and I most recently took cefzil for a few weeks for the swollen lymph nodes. However, I didn't have swollen lymph nodes until after the Cipro, and had all of these problems before the anti-biotics.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to take up so much space and people's time, but if ANYBODY has something even remotely close to what I'm talking about, please let me know. I know there's a lot to sort through, but I would appreciate it.
Josh

P.S. I also quit smoking marijuana, because it made the area around my gut/pelvis feel really weird. Like I couldn't stop moving my legs, and pelvic area was really tense...

Jooner, you said you quit smoking, did you mean regular cigarettes, I thought that is what you mean't.

I did quit cigs, but I quit pot a few moths before that. Both of these decisions were secondary to this condition...

Well Jooner, congrats...you passed the test..you gave the right answer. For a young fella, you seem to have a good head on your shoulders, trying to clean up your life before the doctors tell you that you must.

And that was exactly my plan...All the doctors I go to just tell me I don't do enough to stay healthy (one thing at a time you know...) so I figured I'd give them something to commend me on. Although I really don't think either drug is directly related to my problem.

I remember the earliest symptoms being slight almost un-noticeable discomfort every once in a while. One thing that I never even thought to mention to my doctor until recently, was that for a while, my belly button smelled funny. I didn't think anything of it, just washed it more. When I went to college, I started eating a rather bland diet. I did have a lot of salads and fruits, maybe noit as much protein, but have always taken a centrum every day. About two months after being at college I started to notice these bulges I speak of. I've noticed many symptoms, from urinary tract/sexual symptoms, to fatigue, and lots of sharp pain. I haven't had as many sharp pains recently, but for a while I was getting a shooting pain near rectum/perineum, as well as the area of the bladder and/or front pubic bone. This pain lasts about 2-3 seconds at the very most, and it's the kind that I have to stop doing whatever I'm doing at the time.

Anyways...there's a little more information, a few more files to put in the cabinet...Any ideas any1?
Josh
