Diane 35 question

hey, im on alesse and i have incredibly oily skin. for about a week or two my skin will be clear and then it breaks out really badly and by the time it clears up it breaks out agian. ive been given panoxyl soap and cream 5% and 10% it does dry my skin out but it doesnt appear to be stopping the acne. its been suggested that i start taking diane 35. i dont really want to switch pills (i hate change) but every time i look in the mirror i want to burst into tears because my face looks so ugly. i am so sick of this! ive heard some bad things about diane 35 so i was just wondering what it did for you and if you stop taking it does your acne come back? i dont want to be on this forever. please help me.

I'm on ALesse right now too actually the generic version which is Avianne..(same thing)Was your skin oily or this oily prior to you starting the Alesse?I havent noticed my skin becoming more oily on Alesse..I was told that ALesse was a good choice for women and didnt have a reputation for causing breakouts or aggravating them..I have also tried he Panoxyl soap..it actaully can be making your oily skin worse because its first dries out since its medicated then your skins resction to that is to out put more oil to make up for it..choose a gentler cleanser..I use Neuogena faming fresh face wash..love it..I've alos tried OrthoTriCyclen the one they Say is soo good for breakouts..it made my skin WORSE>.HOw long haven on ALeese?Takes 4 mos for your body to adjust...

i was on it for 2 years then in august that just past i went off it for 3 months because of these problems and now im back on. when i first went on it i had medium skin not too oily and not too dry. i hardly ever got pimples. i thought i was done because i had it a fair amount when i was about 14. near the end of the two years my skin started getting really oily and i started breaking out more. thast why i went off it for a bit to see if the pill was the cause. i dont konw maybe 3 months wasnt long enough because everything kinda seemed the same.

HOw old are you?I'm 32 and still get zits..so ya dont outgrow them..What's your cleasning routine?what ar eu applying to your skin,makeup?SPF moisturizers..all these paly factors..also are u taking any antibiotics?Meds from Dermotologist....I got a prescription for Klaron,a topical medicine from my doc and it has really helped clear my skin very gently...m skin is combo not too oily or too dry...but very prone to breakouts...typo in prior email..ALesse isnt known for causing breakouts it supose to help..

i am 20. like i said i hadnt had any problems with acne since i was 14. so for 5 years i had no problem and then suddenly its starting up again. i keep trying different things for my skin. first in the morning i would use a neutrogena foam cleanser that had salycic acid and at night i would use the panoxyl soap that was 5% and i put the 10% cream on any pimples i had. i tried that for awhile and it didnt work so i started using the panoxyl soap in the morning and in the afternoon. it got rid of all the oil and grease but still gave me pimples and made my skin all flakey and peeling. i use coverup ONLY when i have a zit and its only in that one spot i dont wear it all over my face. its a covergirl one and it says oil free on it. no antibiotics but i started taking a vitamin because i heard that can help clear your skin up too.
