Sinusitus Symptoms...

I've been diagnosed with Sinusitus a couple times by my ENT, mainly dealing with stuffiness, runny nose, and cloudy head. Lately I've been getting even worse symptoms with my Sinusitus. Has anyone had Sinusitus with severe dizziness, bad headaches, severe head & neck tensions, nausea (due to headeaches & tensions), stuffy and runny nose?....

I thought this was still my withdrawal from going off of Paxil CR last month but I've been told by two doctors that this is not still withdrawal...

Please let me know if anyone else feels these symptoms as well with their Sinusitus?.. Thank You...

Re: Sinusitus Symptoms...

about 2 years ago i was told i had sinusitus. my symptoms were similar to yours. i'd get very sick as well. i almost fainted, or did.. as a result of it. i really wasn't doing well at all. mine lasted uhm... probly a few weeks. i'm not really sure as it was a while ago. how long have you had these symptoms? and were you given anything for it?

i was given some pills and a nose spray.. i had actually gone into the doctors for something else, thinking that the reason i was feeling so crappy was because i had taken too many pain killers lol.. (ya i know, stupid... but sometimes you just want to get rid of a headache that's been there for over a week and you'll try anything!) so she found i had sinusitus.. gave me meds.. told me if once i was done the pills i wasn't feeling better to go back in. but they helped. wish i knew what they were :s

sorry that's not very helpful..

I've been having these problems for almost a month now. I was given a prescription nose spray (nasonex or nasarel?..) and also Allegra. These drugs didn't help me this time. Feel a lot worse this time, on top of all this I have a very large herniated disk in my neck that's adding to the problems..LOL...so many things going on. Thanks for your input.

ya i had nasonex as well but i had a prescription antibiotic i believe. allergra is otc isn't it? have you gotten any scans done? i know that my boss's daughter once had had really bad symptoms... they did some kind of scan and saw that she had a huge sinus infection.. so bad that it showed up on the scan... it was enough to hospitalize her. maybe you should go back? they might be able to try something different.. maybe do tests..

Hi anna,

Thanks for your reply backs and input. Went to see my ENT yesterday and he said I did have Sinusitus again but wasn't sure of what was giving me the dizziness, tension, and nausea. He put me on Antivert to help me with the dizziness. Go back in three weeks again to see him and we'll see how it goes from now. Thanks again for your input. Darcy
