Unhappy I'm sick- Please help

Hello

I have an issue. Right now I'm sick. I have this horrible cold (maybe sinus but I doubt it) and my nose is all stuffed up. My eyes are all glassy and my left eye will not stop watering. I keep getting the sensation to sneeze, but most times that is all it is, the itchy tickly sensation, then nothing comes out

Last night I took some Allegra. I was up ALL NIGHT. My throat was scratching and very dry. Everytime I would doze off, my throat would feel weird and (while this is very hard to explain...) I would hum out loud just as I was falling asleep. That noise of my voice/throat would cause me to wake up and this happened EVERY TIME I tried to fall asleep.

Can anyone help me?

Allegra is a non-drowsy medication, so no wonder you were up all night! I cannot take allegra b/c it gets me too jittery.

To me it sounds as though you have allergies, may want to have them checked out.

Thanks for the advice...I do not really believe this is allergies, I truly think I do have a cold. This is the first time I have had the humming problem when I try to fall asleep. I do agree about the allegra. I didn't realize it when I took it though. You can bet I won't be taking anymore of it. I didn't like it anyhow.

You probubly do have allergies. Take an over the counter antihistamine, but not at night. They tend to keep you awake. You should feel some relief. Consider food allergies; try elimination diet.

The humming sound you hear could be a wheezing sound. Like other have mentioned, try a plain anahistamine and see if it helps.
