Seasonale and other birth control's mixed...

I went to the health clinic about 2 weeks ago and the doctor gave me Seasonale, but told me it expires in one month, so just take one month of Seasonale and switch over to Nordette 28. I am only in the 2nd week of Seasonale, and am doing fine. The first pack of birth control I started with was Nordette 28 and that was about 2 months ago. She also told me that you have the same effects of Seasonale (4 periods a month) if you just skip the last "orange week" of pills in Nordette and start another pack the next day on schedule. She said it works the same. So I plan to do that. Is this correct? I just would like to get a second opinion on the situation. I know you guy's are doctor's or anything but I just want your opinions' on things. Also does Seasonale help acne? I don't really have acne i just get a few spots, nothing too terrible, just embarrassing. So can anyone give me some opinoin's?

She is correct. Skipping your placebo/inactive pills will allow you to skip your period.

All birth control has the potential to help acne, but only Ortho Tri-Cyclen is FDA approved for the treatment of acne.
