
A 1200 calorie diet is not the way. You may be depriving you body of vital nutrients!
Question: How long did it take you to gain the weight? Don't expect to lose it in any less time and still remain healthy. Adjust your diet to lose slowly.
List everything you eat on a case-by-case basis. Get an appointment with a nutritionist and you will be surprised by what you will learn.
Get a copy of at American Diabetes association's Exchange guide and learn how to use it.
Plan on making other lifestyle changes.
successfu; meal planning is important. Shopping for food begins on the planning table. I also have a copy of Corinne T Natzer's "The Complete Book of Food Counts." (it is available on-line and in most book stores.) It is useful for meal planning & suggesting alternative and "least case examples" of foods.
