Hpv?

I was raped back in October and the A$$ that did it had Genital Warts. Yesterday I noticed a small white bump/cyst looking thing on the side of my clitoris...kinda in the little hood. Most web site say that they are colorless and kinda rough. Well this is really soft and almost looks like a whitehead. So GROSS! This is so embarassing. I think maybe I'll go to the doctors today...any advice would be nice.

P.S. If it is a wart....does anyone know about the process of filing a civil lawsuit against him. They couldnt prove that he raped me because we were friends. Perhaps I can get him on INtent to infect or something?

Re: Hpv?

I am so sorry that this happened to you. It is a terrible thing to go through. I had the same exact thing happen to me. I was raped and then got hpv. He was the only guy I had been sexually active with so I know that it was him. I felt so dirty and so ashamed. I never filed a law suite and I really do not know how you would go about doing it. How did you find out that that he had hpv?

Re: Hpv?

During what happened. I had felt it...and I for some reason thought it was sand or something. The whole thing was such a blur. I had just gotten back from the ER and he was my ride home since they put me on Valium and Roxicet.

Re: Hpv?

Hey,

I am sorry about what happened to you. I would definitely take some legal action, even without the wart (or whatever that may be), RAPE should not be taken lightly.

Warts can vary, small to large, rough or soft, tough i think they are usually more soft and fluffly. I would get a biopsy to find out for sure, or get at least 2 opinions before knowing.

The fact is not too many ppl have current information on HPV. Its not really an STD like gonorhea or syphillis, its a virus, kind of like a cold. It can be transmitted easily, even without sexual intercourse, skin to skin is enough of a median for it to be transmitted.

My doctor who is a Researcher/Urologist/Oncologist told me that 3rd graders have HPV in their dental cavity. So it is quite common. There are cases of virgins who have got it, and also married couples who were virgins before marriage. So sex is not the only way of transmission, although it is certainly 1 way.

Re: Hpv?

I tried to bring him to court but because we were friends it was hard to prove. It was basicly my word against his.

I went and got it looked at. She said it was nothing....I think maybe I'm just paranoid.
