I started taking zovia 1/35 2 months ago and a week after I started I began getting dizzy. The dizziness progressed to full on anxiety/panic attacks. I have been through tons of tests now and I am awaiting my results from an MRI for Multiple Sclerosis. I have muscle pain and weakness in my body. Anyone else have symptoms like this after taking zovia or demulen???? I am trying to find a reason for my problem. Its a coincidence that this started a week after I started these pills. Help!!
I understand how you feel. I did take that pill for 2 months. I took Demulen. It was when I was first trying out the pill for other symptoms. Anyway, I had vertigo (spinniness not lightheadedness) with it. I stopped taking it and that went away. I think it took some time for it to stop though. It was years ago so I don't totally remember. If that's the only change you've had then that 's probably it. Esp. if your MRI is normal.
I wanted to also mention that in general one of the symptoms of too much estrogen in vertigo/dizziness. That doesn't mean that Zovia has too much estrogen, just that it's too much for you. Women can react differently to estrogen. Pills are not a one size fits all. You should ask your doc about a 20mcg pill instread of 35mcgs of estrogen which is what Zovia has.
