Question Has anyone tried Leucatin for nail fungus?

It's an oral (and topical) solution that claims to work and doesn't seem like it would be hard on the liver like oral meds (like Lamisil, sporanox...)

Just wondering if anyone has tried it and if it works?

(I have seen the threads on Thymol, Tea Oil, and Oil of Oregano so might try those too.)

I came on here to find out the same thing. I was just wondering because I happened upon a site selling it.

Re: Has anyone tried Leucatin for nail fungus?

The only thing I've tried is apple cider vinegar (any vinegar might do the same) and it's working!!! My nail is now half grown out and is fungus-free and looking almost normal again. I've had fungus in this toe for nearly 10 years now. It's taken about 2 months so far, but I've heard it takes at least 3 months for a new nail to grow out.

I apply the ACV with a Q-tip and massage it into the cuticle several times, once a day, usually in the evening when I take my shoes off for the day. I did not want to take any prescription as the side-effects were too serious, ie: liver damage. I don't know if there are any side effects from the product you mentioned.

Thumbs up Re: Has anyone tried Leucatin for nail fungus?

Hi Sonflower1116
That's what I'm using on my toenail fungus. It works great! I was using tea tree oil for about 6 months with a little improvement, but since I started using vinegar about a month ago, I'm seeing a tremendous improvement! At this rate my nail fungus should be completely gone in a couple more months. Unfortunately, so will my toenail. I had the fungus so long that it has permanently damaged the nail bed. It still looks a zillion times better though.

Glad to hear you're also having success with the apple cider vinegar, too. At first I didn't see any change but just kept on rubbing the vinegar into the cuticle. I've heard that it takes the prescriptions drugs several months before results are seen, also. Our way is most definitely cheaper, right?
