Hi All -
Well after seeing my LLMDs office and talking at length about how I feel doxy helps me more than minocycline we decided that will be the new "backbone" of my treatment. So doxy/septra with flagyl added at week three then week break - then doxy/levaquin - add flagyl third week then break...this will be the first time on levaquin for more than three days at a time before my diagnosis so should be interesting. I have taken it before and have not had a neurological reaction like 1% of people so I think it will be alright. Just makes me nervous.
I also decided to add arteminisin in today with the doxy/septra. I have to say I started herxing after the morning dose...I have been on septra/zith. for a week before so that could be why I am herxing.
My head feels spinny, lots of joint pain in the little fingers, the elbows, feel visual weirdness...so strange.
I have also been doing this therapy called JMT or Jaffe Mellor technique. It works with the autonomic nervous system...supposedly my immune system function was reset yesterday to destroy cell walled, cell wall deficient, and some other form of bacteria...and while it all seems like Voo Doo at times - this is the worst herx I have had in awhile...I don't know - time will tell I guess...
Well just had to get up - my dog was barking - there was a deer in our yard...picture this - herxing me - in a bright red sweatshirt on the back step jumping up and down clapping at the deer. I did this and then heard four in the woods to the right then a huge bunch on the left that I couldn't see - all running...We are on a Deer Superhighway here - It is just NUTS!!!!
Well I hope you all are well and not herxing like me but somehow I bet this is a bit unrealistic...Take care and to all who celebrate Easter - Happy Easter!
