Re: Strange sickness, help?

It sounds as if you have damage to some sensory nerve fibers, which could be caused from a number of underlying disorders.
I suggest you ask your doctor for a referral to a neurologist, ASAP.

Re: Strange sickness, help?

give me an idea of what you have been taking. i had bizzaire side effects from certain meds and was told for 2 years that it had nothing to do with the meds. hence three times in hospital, almost killed me. was told i had lupus and MS. SOME ONE FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT AND SAVED ME. but i still have some very odd effects going on. give me an idea of what meds and for how long and most important what was taken together and for what length of time. ive gotten very good at checking effect and cross effect since. my problem started with aciphex.

Re: Strange sickness, help?

Sometimes allergies are VERY hard to diagnose because it may be a combination of things that set it off. Say it is raining, you eat ice cream and you shaved the night before... all those three things would have to be present (I'm NOT saying that is known to cause an allergic reaction, I'm just saying that it could be a combo of things and you really have to write down EVERYTHING and see if there's any corrolation somewhere. Then even if you DO write it down, you may be missing something like suppose you eat ice cream, you shave and you put your hand on your face after touching metal... you can't possible write down EVERYTHING you do, and it may be impossible to tell WHAT is giving you the allergic reaction.

Re: Strange sickness, help?

Also you might want to try experimenting with different diets. I had a bundle of weird symptoms - not exactly the same as yours - but now I'm more or less back to normal.

I treated myself by finding one meal I could eat without getting any side affects: porrage mixed with hot water and nothing else. This gave me a base from which I could live symptom free, and from there to experiment with other foods to see which ones triggered off the reactions, and therefore to avoid. Eventually I built up a regular diet, all the while my body's own system strengthened and adjusted to the more abrasive foods - not to mention providing me with a life free of discomfort.

If nothing else, hold onto this thought: these chronic conditions do eventually pass.
