I have the same problem. My Doc prescribed Nexium and I took that for 60 days and removed the carbs from my diet. I haven't had a problem in about 4 months and I no longer take Nexium.

Protonix worked wonders for me, took it for a couple months and never had heartburn. I have run out recently and still get the occasional heartburn.

Asako, just remember that everything you get is not a disease, it could just be a temporary glitch in your body function - with all the stuff inside our bodies,things are bound to go a little off once in a while.

do any of you acid reflux sufferers have bad breath from this problem. I have it constantly and have exhausted every avenue orally and such, with no relief.
I have completey bad indegestion, bloating, and such. I am in the process of cleaning up my diet to help.
