Re: Drug testing questions

feelbad, the 72 hour rule, for what she is doing, can be applied. But you are right about other substaces (ex.valium, xanax, marrijuana) can stay in your system longer. But the chemical breakdown of what she is taking does not stay in the system longer. Ask a pharmacist and they will tell you. I know . But I definately DON'T think she should fool around with this stuff. She said she's been doing it for 7 years and she would be ok because nothing has happned yet., her heart would beg to differ. This stuff damages the HEART BIGTIME! And the damage might not be apparent now (she is still young) but it will be eventually. And BTW, no one plans on an overdose....REVERSE toleance squishy. Just take what people are saying to HEART...PLEASE!!!!

Re: Drug testing questions

Usually I take unisom but sometimes I have to change brands but their all over the counter. Thats why I was thinking they cant be that strong since there only about 25mg each. But I guess when you take about 10 it adds up. I know about overdoseing its one of the worse experiances I had to go through. After that I never took more then 10 again and Im more careful of what I take. I am thinking of stopping now but it wont be easy because its how I spend almost all my weekends and freetime

Re: Drug testing questions

squishy-
I know it will be hard. Idle time is the devil's workshop....so keep busy and eventually all those things you did high you will be able to do straight and still have fun. It seems impossible at first but it does change in time. You will still want it but just think....you really can't do it forever, it will eventually take you out. Good luck! And let us know how it goes.

Re: Drug testing questions

Ya , let us know what happens. Man, I bet you didnt excpect all the responses you got.
Also, you are an adult, so you do have to think about you life, and how you want to lead it. Will YOU lead it, or will it lead you?
Good luck!

Re: Drug testing questions

Ya Im pretty surprised that I got this much responce. The last site I went to wassnt much help but here people actually respond fast and are really helpful. I heard theres a few ways of makeing a drug test come up clear without actually giving up codeine. But Im kind of scared to try it and find out they dont actually work. Part of me still wants to do it. But then if I do get caught I lose this job and maybe my future one. I really want to be a nurse and you need a clean record for that. If I do stop, it would change so much. Im pretty much known for doing it. Ive been doing this so long that I have no idea what I would do on my weekends, or when my friends talk about the fun they had when they were high and then I cant get high w/ them, when Im stressed out, or just when things are going bad. Its all I know, I never really had any hobbies and I dont hang out w/ friends that often. But its going to be strange if I stop.
