I believe you can skip periods with any stronger doses, so stronger pills..because the low dose pills cause break through bleeding to most people.
I dont think skipping periods is the right way to go about it tho, are you sure you've tried a few pills and they didnt work for you?
Trying a stronger dose may lighten your period..
Whatever you do, please dont go on the shot.
And yes, I've tried quite a few pill brands already and nothing seems to do anything at all. I'll be going off to university this fall and I don't want to deal with these heavy periods every single month. I've been on Ovral, Ortho Tri-cyclen, Alesse, and now Marvelon.
