Swollen Lymph Nodes

My lymph nodes on the right side of my neck are very swollen and painful. My throat is swollen and in a lot of pain, and I can feel tonsil stones in the back of my throat but I can't seem to reach them to get them out. The one lymph node is really swollen, and it's getting bigger every day. It's been like this for three days now.

I don't feel sick, I'm not tired, it's just my lymph nodes and throat. Could this just be some infection my body is trying to fight off? I don't have the money to go to the doc and get antibiotics unless it's something serious. Anybody else have this problem? How long did it take to get over it?

It definately sounds like an infection and its probably not going to get better until you do get some antibiotics. If you are not allergic to it, amoxicillin and the other penicillin type drugs are very inexpensive and if you need antibiotics you could specifically ask for one of those. It sounds like it could be strep even though you don't have other symptoms so I wouldn't play around with it.
