Acne and birth control pill

cant get much worse then your face being infected from staph due to it for 7 months. staph can kill you.


and the out break I have on my back am pretty sure is infected right now so am using the stuff I had used to heal my face last year on this as well.

I broke out from birth control majorly... that's why I wasn't on it for the longest time. I was on Diane 35 at first and it made my face so bad and then I tried Alesse and it did the exact same thing. I would usually put up with this for 3 months tops. I went to a dermo to try and go on accutane and he told me that first off, I would have to take birth control (Diane 35) no matter what, if I wanted to be on accutane and secondly it can take up to 6 months for birth control to effect acne.

I just went to the dr and she put me on bc pills (for many reasons) and she told me that the pill would help clear up my acne that ive had for a few years now. Hopefully she is right-

All I have to say is...
Do birth control pills actually help your acne literally? I mean..my doctor told me it will help with my face. So i went with it. Then I was having out breakouts, I thought it was the pills I was taking. So, I stop using them for a day, then a week. After I just stop using them. It seems it was part of the problem..I guess. I dunno

my out break clears up when I am off of the pill for a week so it is related to it, especially since I usualy have clear skin (or close to it)
